Browse Catalogue

From the Home Page Browse Catalogue by using the options down the left side of the page. Browse by Composer, Performer, Conductor, Period, Label, etc.

Selecting Composers, for example, will take you to the Composer Index page (below)

Browse Composers

From the picture gallery or A-Z listings select a composer and you will be taken to the relevant composer’s Feature Page.

You can also use the filters to refine your search by Period, Genre, Country etc. Using the Filters will allow you get you closer to the music you want and will, for example, allow you to list only Baroque composers’ Opera recordings.

This page will give you biographical information and direct you to listings of available works, Best Sellers and Recommended recordings.

Click on 'View Recordings' for a full listing of available downloads for this composer.

This page will list all albums containing available music by that composer.

Click on the 'Works/Recordings' tab for a listing of all available works by that composer.

Click on 'View Repertoire' to take you to the composer’s works index page, listing all works available from Passionato.

Click on ‘Learn More’ for information about a particular work and recordings of it available from Passionato.

Use the filters on the left-hand side to identify works by their importance within the Classical repertoire.

Click on the required recording of the work to go to the specific page for that recording.

Click on 'Tracks' to reveal information at track level and to preview your chosen music.

Browse Performers

Selecting Performers from the home page will take you to the index page for performers where you may filter by Period, Country, and Genre etc in exactly the same way as by Composer.

Locate an artist in the Performer Index page. Choose a performer to take you to you to their Feature Page.

Performer Feature Pages will allow you access to biographies, reviews, and available downloads for your preferred performers.

Browse ‘Conductors’, ‘Ensembles’ ‘Instruments’, ‘Classical Genres, and ‘Periods’ in the same way.

Browse Labels

From the Record Labels index page scroll down to view available labels.

With our Label listings, you have the added benefit of being able to filter your search by ‘series’ or ‘sub-label’.

For example you can search specifically for the Decca ‘Legends’ series by clicking on 'Decca Legends' in the Decca sub-label listings.

From the Label index page click on the label logo to find out information about the label and listings of available titles.

Browse from the top bar

Offers

Browse ‘Offers’ to view special promotions and campaigns by clicking on ‘Offers’ in the top bar. From the Offers index select a promotion to see titles on offer.

From here you can view all the titles in this offer by clicking on 'View all titles'. Select required downloads in the same way as before.

Charts

From the Home page select and view ‘Charts’ in the same way to access top selling titles by genre.

New Releases

From the Home page select ‘New Releases’ to view featured new titles. Here you will be able to browse selected New Releases or view releases from the last 30 days.

From here you can sort New Releases by catalogue number, best selling order, release date or user rating. You can also use the filters to focus on your preferred genres or periods.

Critics Choice

Select ‘Critics Choice’ to see reviews and recommendations.

Click on required publication for detailed reviews, ratings and Awards Winners.

Each publication’s feature page will allow you to view Awards winners and top rated titles.

For example, you can search for a previous Gramophone Awards winner by filtering the relevant category and year. Refine your search further by filtering period, genre etc.

Follow the same procedure for other Critical Guides such as The Penguin Guide and BBC Music.
