Download Manager using Google Chrome

Windows PC - using Google Chrome (Browser)

If this is your first time downloading from Passionato you will be asked to install the download manager. Installing the Passionato download manager will allow you to receive and manage your downloads more easily and you will only have to do this once.

The download manager installation process will check to see if your computer has the necessary Java software application. Most computers have this but if not, the Download Manager will automatically offer to download Java for you at no cost to you. This is a quick and simple process, after which the download process will continue and you will receive your purchased music.

The Download Manager enables multiple tracks to be easily downloaded to your music folder automatically.

With it you can pause downloads if you need to and resume later.

Download manager will automatically put your music into the Passionato folder in your Music folder but you can specify a change of location on your computer (after installation). See ‘Configuring Download Manager’ below.

Install Download Manager

By default the Windows version of our Download Manager is displayed for download (see highlight 1 above). If you are a Mac user then click on the 'click here' link.

If you have already installed the Download Manager but you wish to download and install again just select the correct version from the links at the top of you download purchase list.

Once you have chosen your version, click on 'Install Download Manager'

Click‘Save’ on the bottom bar

Click on 'Passionato dlm' (download manager) in the bottom right hand corner.

Click 'Run'

Click 'Next'

Click 'Install'

Click 'Finish'

Click on 'Yes' to confirm installation and you will be taken to your download page.

Click 'Download now'

Click on the 'receipt' button to open download manager and monitor your downloads.

The Download Manager box will open and you will be able to see the progress of your downloads.

Your music will now automatically be downloaded to your Passionato folder in your Music folder or the location you have otherwise specified.

You can pause and resume your downloads if you need to.

When downloading has completed, click on the folder icon to access your music.

Configuring the Download Manager

Having successfully installed the download manager, you may wish to change the download location of your Passionato purchases, from the default location to another preferred folder.

To do this, simply go to your desk top and double click on the Passionato icon. Alternatively open the download manager from the Passionato folder in ‘programs’

This will open the download manager.

Go to ‘File’ and click on ‘Preferences’.

Click on ‘Browse’ to open your folders.

Select your preferred folder as the new destination for your Passionato downloads. Click 'OK'.

From now on this folder will be the default destination of all your Passionato downloads
