Mac OSX instructions

If downloading with a Mac please use the following procedures.

Install Download Manager

When you get to “Downloads” stage of purchase, download the Download Manager by clicking 'install Download Manager'

Uncompress (if necessary) and install the Download Manager.

A .zip file will go to your specified download location. If it doesn’t uncompress automatically, double-click on the file named passaionato-dlm-osx.zip

This will result in an icon for the passionate downloader. You can then move the Passionato Downloader into your Applications folder.

Confirm Installation

Answer “yes” to the following question when it appears in your browser: You are now downloading the download manager. Please run the installation and when complete tell us if the Passionato Download Manager installed successfully? Download your purchases Once you’ve confirmed installation you will be presented with a link to download your purchases. Clicking the “Download Now” link will result in a file ending in “.psn” being downloaded to your desktop

If you are using Safari, you’ll need to locate this file (go to “Window” menu in Safari.

Click “Downloads”. Double-click the psn file in the download window.

You’ll be asked if you want to open the Passionato Download Manager. Click yes.

Your downloads will commence.

If you are using Firefox, you’ll be asked if you want to Save the .psn file or if you’d like to “Open with” the Passionato .app

You should have the file open with the Passionato.app and check the box to indicate “Do this automatically for files like this from now on.”
