
LSO Live is the recording wing of the world-renowned London Symphony Orchestra and was one of the first orchestra-led labels. Retailing at budget price LSO Live features new recordings made by the orchestra at its London home, the Barbican. During it's short existence (it was founded in 2000) the label has earned numerous plaudits from critics and a number of awards. Distinguished conductors that have appeared on LSO Live include Sir Colin Davis (former Principle Conductor of the LSO), Valery Gergiev (present Principle Conductor) and Bernard Haitink.
